We knew there was a Vineyard Church in the area and found more details on the website. We decided to go along to a Sunday meeting at Network House.

What made you decide to stay?
From the first meeting we attended we felt really welcome. Quite a number of people introduced themselves and everyone seemed very welcoming. The worship was real and dynamic and the messages were relevant and challenging. All round – a great first impression, which made us want to come back.

How did you get more involved?
We joined a cell group which was fairly close to where we live. I also helped out with the mother and baby group on a Sunday morning whilst I was pregnant with twins. Now they’ve arrived I’m taking a short break.

How has that affected your relationship with God?
I’ve really enjoyed looking at different scriptures and life issues at cell group. I’ve always come away from the group feeling challenged and encouraged which has really helped me draw closer to God. My personal relationship with God has blossomed since attending Vineyard, mainly due to the relationships I’ve made and the teachings that I’ve received.

What are you excited about in the life of the church?
The food bank bags are an awesome way to reach people with the love of God. I love to hear stories of people being touched and the incredible impact the church is having on the local community as a result of the simple act of people buying a few extra groceries .
