Children are highly valued members of our church community and we currently have several activities for them:

Discovery Zone groups for 0-11’s meet during our regular sunday services. Activities include fun & games, art and crafts, lively worship, quizes, Bible stories and practical teaching.

We have recently started a Discovery Zone WIKI - an online space with photos of some of our activities on and as well as various bits of information.  To have a look at some of the things we’ve done recently follow this link: http://discoveryzone.pbwiki.com/Created+by+the+kids

The children’s work is co-ordinated by Nigel Hemming. For more information about Discovery Zone or Kidz Cell catch him on a Sunday, phone the office or send us an e-mail, putting the word ‘kids’ in the subject line.

x:site is a fantastic large scale children’s event with live music, great stories, loads of fun and games, quizes and small group activities for 7-11’s. We have been involved in this event from the start and highly reccomend it. X:site takes place every 2 months on a Saturday night from 6-8pm at the Salvation Army Citadel in the city centre.
