There are many different activities and events that happen within the church. Some take place on a Sunday and others happen during the week. Some are aimed at specific people groups, others are suitable for everyone. Hope’ is intended to provide churches of all shapes and sizes throughout the UK with a fresh opportunity to work together across their communities over a twelve month period.

We will be linking in prayer with Hope during the year using the resources provided by our friends at the World Prayer Centre to pray for our friends, neighbours, families, work colleagues, communities, churches and nations.

We will also continue to express the values of Hope through events such as “Carols in the City” which brings together many different churches to touch our city.

The vision behind Hope 2008 is that of a mobilised missional church and we will support that vision by continuing to encourage our cell groups to demonstrate God’s love in their local communities and live as expressions of ‘hope’ amongst their families and friends.
