Our vision is made up of a number of beliefs, some of which are common to all churches and some of which are distinctive to us and the way God has called us to express church life. These beliefs ultimately determine all our activities and each key vision statement is linked to part of our name vineyard network church birmingham:-

Vineyard: Vineyard* is our family name and expresses our desire to worship God and mobilize people to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit as Jesus did.

Network: God has specifically called us to develop a network of groups across Birmingham that are connected by a common heart and work together sharing strengths and resources.

Church: We aim to be a church that effectively shares God’s love with people and makes following Jesus accessible to everyone.

Birmingham: We aim to reflect the diverse nature of our city by developing multiple expressions of church that reach into every local community.

* Vineyard is a growing network of churches across the world. We are part of Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland.

Our values help us focus on what is important in the life of each individual, small group and activity within the church. We aim to have a balance of the following five statements in everything we do:-

Jesus at the centre: recognising that only Jesus changes people.
Everyone in community: committed relationships based on sacrificial love and honesty.
Everyone growing: overcoming barriers to personal growth through supportive relationships.
Everyone serving: using our lives and gifts to serve one another and our communities.
Everyone making disciples: helping people to follow Jesus.
