You’ll find great student churches, great family churches and great community churches. All of them vibrant and diverse which helps to make Birmingham a wonderful place to worship, work, study and live.
We work together with many churches in Birmingham to see God’s love demonstrated across the city. Initiatives like Carols in City (Birmingham’s largest open air carol service) and City Pastors (a helpful, supportive Christ-like presence on the streets) have all come out of long-term relationships between church leaders across the city.
Leaders from many dominations also gather regularly to pray and seek God’s heart for the church in Birmingham.
Birmingham’s civic motto is ‘Forward’ and it is our prayer that we will continue to move forward in unity and fruitfulness as churches together.
